MDG-F 7.0 SP1 New Cost Center Field

Hello,

There is a field called "New Cost Cost" under Admin data section of the cost center change request. I thought this is used to capture a true cost center code vs. cost center code over the cost center field. however this field value is not taking into the data replication over into ECC 6.0. I am wondering what this field is really used and what is the plan to make this field featured.
