MDG-F Data Replication Issues

Hello Experts,

 

I have got 3 queries.

 

          1.    While creating a CR for G/L account creation I am facing an issue. The created G/L account gets reflected in FSP0 transaction and it is not showing up in FS00 transaction.

 

          2.     Few times the CR created for a Cost Element creates the data in the MDG Hub table but the IDOC COELEM is not getting triggered.

 

          3.     I am using Cost Centre-Single processing for Cost Centre assignment to a G/L account, is this right?

MDg 7.0 OBN issue

Hello Experts,

 

We have configured MDG 7.0 and we are facing a couple of issues in NWBC. Please see the following error that we are getting during the Edition Creation in NWBC, we are using the role SAP_MDGF_ACC_REQ_04. This appears to be a Configuration issue.

User Exit or BADI for DEBMAS outbound IDOC

I am trying to post an IDOC from MDG to ECC. I want change some certain field value in IDOC at the time of posting. I am using DEBMAS outbound IDOC for customer data.

Please help me in finding out any USER EXIT or BADI where I can write my code.

MDG Screen Validations not working

Hello Experts,

 

I have created some BRF+ validations for MDG screen,  In the simulation mode the validations are working but on the actual screen they are not working.

 

We already have the note 1884775 implemented in our system. Kindly provide the inputs for this issue.

Key field should not be mandatory

Hi experts,

 

I want to extend model BP with a new entity type for an industry specific table. The table has several key fields so I created corresponding type 3 entity types for them and linked them to the main entity type with Qualifying relations.

 

For Qualifying relations only a cardinality 1:N can be set. But this makes the fields mandatory. For one of the key fields this behaviour is not wanted as mostly no value is entered.

 

Is there a way to model key fields without such a side effect?

No Object keys found for data replication

Hello Experts,

 

We are trying to set the replication from MDG to ECC which are the same logical systems.

When we execute the Data Replication we are getting the error "No Object keys found for data replication".

 

Where am I supposed to define the Object Keys for the message types?

Data replication monitoring on MDG flex mode objects with Information Steward

Hi,

 

I am exploring different options available to setup data replication monitors on SAP MDG custom objects(flex mode). Basically my requirement is to setup rules in SAP Information steward which identifies if there are any missing records or mismatch between the data in MDG system and the replicated systems.

 

The challenge I am facing is that the tables generated by MDG framework for flex mode are not consistent and they keep changing if we change some key information in the MDG data model. Also the generated tables are not the same in each environment (like development, quality, production). Appreciate if anybody can provide suggestions on handling the MDG generated tables in SAP Information Steward.

Hello Experts,

 

     I am new in SAP MDG. I have created data modeling, UI modeling, process modeling (like Business Activity), created user menu as well. After that, when I am trying to create one particular scenario with NWBC to create the change request, then it showing "can not determine UI Configuration". I have check all possible setps in UI modeling, Process modeling but not able to find the problem. Please help me on this. SAP MDG F Edition - Change request without edition

Hello Experts

 

Currently I am working on SAP MDGF ( Ver 6.1)

 

My question is :

 

Whether we can have Change request without edition in MDG F .

As the scenario is that,there is  Business urgency for creation of Master Data which  that cant wait till the release of edition.Edition contains Chnage request which are yet to be approved and some approved but master data to be active only at release of Edition

 

Now is there any way where I can have Change request without edition ?

 

I have tried using "Immediately distribute change request" in Edition but then it immediately replicates all the change request in that edition , tried creating another edition but entity type can't be atach to two editions at the same time and also Two edition for same entity type not possible.

Data Replication in MDG

Hi folks,

 

I have create material in NWBC  in MDG system once we create and submit the workflow will for approval process once that done materiel

 

Activate after that Replication step is  there in  standard workflow 60800086  once Replication done is that material is created in ECC system

 

after replication done we we need to check whether Replication done or not,

could please help for the same

Issue with manual replication in MDG-F

Hi

 

After the release of the Edition (set up for manual replication)and executing the Manual replication option in NWBC, the records just don't seem to be replicated to the back-end ECC system. I have ensured that the CR's (linked with the Edition) are all in the 'Final Check Approved' status. Besides, the "Run validation" option for the Edition (prior to its release) gave no errors.

 

 

1. Where do I look out for the status of the records that are replicated ?

 

2. Is there a way to speed up the manual replication process ?

 

3. Is there a way to repeat the "manual replication" of the records from MDG ?

Hi Guys,

 

would appreciate some inputs / thoughts on the following :

 

1. Is there any Rapid Deployment Solution focused for MDG-F ?

 

2. what are the integration channels with BODS or BPC ? are there any adapters provided or all needs to be custom developed ?

 

3. What level of rules & template customization can be done ?

 

4. If deployment is standalone then how it will be in sync/use the underlying ECC work flow ? and finally,

 

5. and any recommendations from SAP on the deployment scenario with the background that if there is road map to move to HANA in the future - what will be pros and cons then to migrate to HANA platform ( if we dont adopt HANA now)

I would like to welcome your thoughts over the issue for Material Master . Thoughts are iMDM goverance nvited for transffering from CRM tool to SAP.. Either to use SAP tools or file data conversion into SAP type and upload ? and soon after creation into sap any tools for its governance for data quality and maintenance?

Roles Creation - MDG Rule-Based Workflow

Hello All,

 

I need to create roles for my rule based workflow as below. Please advise me how to proceed wither we need to create position or role or anything else?

 

SiteRoleRole
DelhiRequestorApprover
AurangabadRequestorApprover
ThambaramRequestorApprover

 

 

I am using Rule-based workflow and I need to assign either role or position in User Agent Decision Table. At any single point of time I can assign only one REQUESTER to the Condition Alias. Then, how can I distinguish between Delhi requestor and Thamharam requestor as they should not see each other’s requests and the same case for approver. Delhi approver should see only his CRs.

 

Any one has done this kind of scenario so far? If so, please advice.

From DRFOUT not able to replicate the material, I-doc is not triggering

Hello Experts,

I am implementing SAP MDG for Material. I have done all the required confiration for Data replication as per the standard configuration document.

I want to replicate to another SAP system from SAP MDG hub.I have created the Data replication model and all the required configuration for maintain    logical system, Distribution and generated partner profile with the necessary message types. But when I am executing DRFOUT no i-doc is generated even though it found material successfully depending on the filter criteria.

 

From BD10 I am able to replicate the Material and I-doc has been gererated and I can see from WE02 that the i-doc has been sent successfully.

 

Please help me out to get the answer why the i-doc is not creating while I am executing DRFOUT.

How do i get the material type after submitting a create material request?

Hi All,

 

I have to select an agent depending on the material type of the material being created? I'm not using the rule based workflow for material creation in MDG 7.0, I'm using WS46000057. How do I get the material type being used in the workflow so that I can create a rule and select an agent accordingly from a custom table.

 

Any kind of help would be sincerely appreciated.

Customer Master Data - ECC Data Migration

Hello All, We are trying to migrate the ECC Customer data in MDG system. My specific questions are as below       

 

1.  Can we use Data Import Framework (DIF) for Customer data upload?   

   

2.  For IDOC XML, Can we use DEBMAS straight away? The reason for this question is that we do have Business Partner integration with Customer (CVI integration) so just by uploading DEBMAS – IDOC XML will it get created Business Partner and Customer?      

 

3.  For newly created customers in MDG, we configured internal number range for customer number. For this Data migration, we need to accept the existing customer number. Since, we are in internal number range, do we need to create external number as well for BP and Customer? Can we have both options active at a time?

 

 

I would like to hear from the people on scenarios to get the right direction of thinking. Please advice.

Group Accounts in MDG-F

What is correct way to handle Group account in MDG-F in MDG 6.0? We have an operating CoA and Group CoA, if I try to create an account in operating CoA, The MDG chnage request processing requires a value for Group Account. I created a account in Group CoA and tries referencing in operating CoA but it doesnt work as in data model this group account value is being referenced by FS Item entity type.

 

Should Group CoA be managed as FS  Item? Is there any other way than using FS Item. It seems that if I use FS Item it will require FSI, FSIT & FSIH entity types to be added to edition type as well as chnage request.

 

Is it possible to replicate FS Item to Group CoA in ECC?

 

Any expereince in handling such situation?
