How to deselect Multi Company when creating Profit center

Hi Experts,

 

We are working on MDG 7 FP2 with MDGF.

 

When we create a new profit center all 182 Company codes are automatically selected with the postable indicator. Initially the company codes are not available but when we select the check buton all company codes are pulled in and already selected.

 

Thus now we have to deselect each company code individually to ensure only the correct Company codes where it should post to are selected.

 

How do we deselect all and only select the applicable ones?

CBA for MDGM-UI

Hello,

 

We need to control Material UI based on Material Type (e.x ABC), ex. We don't need MRP type for a particular material type and  few fields are mandatory in MRP type.

 

How to control the view and fields when user use it for Material type using CBA, or do we have any other way to control UI fields based on Material Type. any pointers/ directions please. It is very urgent

MDG for Cost Center And Profit Center

Hi there,

 

I am wondering if someone has used MDG for mass organization changes in the FI setup? Meaning If I change a big part of the organization which means create and change of a lot of Cost, Profit and Accounts did you use a form of MASS change or how did you do it? Is it possible to trigger a automatic change from third part systems if changes are actual or is it always manually triggered?

Based on my requirement, I am using an Table (FORM_LIST_UIBB), with two columns and few rows.

1. I need an custom F4 help for one of the Column field? How it can be done?

2. Next one, How can i Achieve Pop Confirmation on UI ?

SAP MDG - User configuration

Hi,

I have installed SAP MDG and I have configured SAP MDG for Supply. I have configured the workflow (create a new change request ) with BRF+, but I don't know, how I configure the Users. I have this Rolls configured incl. Users

But when I use this Rolls, I receive this Menu

I want to know, how can I configure this Rolls so that I the right configuration receive?

We are in the process of configuring Embedded Search for MDG 7.0 hub as per the config guide link below .My question where and how do we configure the search connectors for embedded search.

Option 1: Configure search connectors in Hub

Option 2 :Should we configure the search connectors in client ? or both hub and client?

MDG Cost Center - Create Request

Dear experts,

 

I just enabled the MDG data model 0G in order to use the out of the box solution for Cost Center.

In my Single processing request for Cost Center I don't see some of the essential fields that we maintain for this entity.

Please advise on the approach I should take in order to have those fields also available.

 

Here is my ECC cost center create screen that has the fields like Valid From and To dates, Hierarchy area, Costing sheet, etc.

The MDG Create request looks a bit different and is missing these fields.

As you can see, those fields are not in the model.

What I can do is enhance the 0G data model and add those fields to it, but I read somewhere that they exist in the model, they are just maintained differently.

Please let me know if you know how to approach the issue.

How do we sync up ECC financial master data with MDG-F?

We knew that there is a SAP supplied tool called MDMGX and the tool is used to extract financial master data out of ECC and we can load up in MDG-F as an initial load. This will take place during MDG-F implementation. That way master data 100% is in sync across ECC tables and MDG-F tables at that point of time.

 

Overtime someone may change old or create new master data in ECC directly without going through MDG-F. If so, data would be out of sync. If that happens, what technical process that is out of the MDG-F box we can use? Would MDG-F have the ability to catch net changed objects (newly added or changed) made in ECC alone and to initiate table updates in MDG-F in the right sequence systematically?

 

 

Any thought?

MDG rule based wf with conditions

Hi Experts,

 

I have implemented rule based workflow with multiple conditions and with dynamic agent but I am getting error at agent determination - find_path_processor(method).

 

Tech analysis:

 

In my analysis I came to know that values are not getting from the BRF+ decision table(single value table), due to that workflow get into error status(this service name, next step & status values has to come from brf+ -> dynamic agent concept used).

 

Class name : cl_usmd_wf_ssw_rule_service -> process_dt_for_cr_type.

 

 

Could any one please suggest or any directions so I can come out from this...

I would like to use the "merging" - classing case functionality vendor. But what happens with the related object to the merged vendors. Meaning when I have invoices or other object. Will these get the new Vendor number or how is it showed that these are merged?

MDG Cost Center - Collective Processing

Hi Boris,

 

Cost center hierarchy field is not avaiable in single cost center create screen. To assign a cost center group (cost center hierarchy) to the cost center created, we need to use Collective Process.

 

from NWBC main screen, hwo do i get to "Collective Processing" screen?

MDG-F - Replication model for Cost Center Group

Hello

 

We are trying to create IDOC replication model for Cost center group IDOC_COSTG for data model 0G (MDG 7.0).

 

When trying to assign "Outbound Parameter" = SEND_DELTA_INFO against outbound implementation 1112, we are getting error message saying : "Entry 1112 SEND_DELTA_INFO does not exist in DRFC_PARO (check table)".

 

While checking table DRFC_PARO via SE16, it shows all the entries for 1012 (GL mast), 1102 (cost center) but it is missing entry for 1112 (cost center group).

 

What are we missing? How to generate entry in this check table DRFC_PARO? which step is creating this entry?
