I have a question on identifying all CR's for material.
I create a material(A) with change request CR1.It is approved and available in active area(MARA). Now I'm changing the material(A) again, a new CR would be created(CR2). Is there a trackability in MDG for the Change Request(CR1, CR2 etc.,) that was created & completed for a material()?

I'm setting up MDG_M configuration for MDG7.0.
I'm trying to create a material through the standard BRF+ workflow(WS60800086) configuration for change request MAT01 and after activation the status changes to "Changes to Executed" for a background step & stuck up there.
Also I found an infinite loop is set and it is struck there. Any idea?

Hi Experts,
We are on MDG 7. I am looking for a step by step guide to assist me to replicate a custom field from MDGF to ECC on the same environment.
I have build the field as an referencing relationship field with CCTR and entity type 1 in the data model because it has 2 check tables assigned to it.
The data element is MWSKZ and I would want to know if we need to build a custom idoc like COSMAS to include the new field and still replicate the old standard CCTR fields to table CSKS in ECC or is there an alternative that should rather be used.
Also, even if we are able to create a custom idoc where do we need to change MDG to look for a custom idoc. The end result should be where the field needs to be updated in table CSKS
Can anyone assist urgently?

This is regarding the navigation issue with my ERP Search customer button, as through Landing Page of Customer MDG when I am clicking on Search ERP customer, It is opening the page for BP customer instead of ERP Customer , however when I am opening the same page fron left hand navigation inside Change Request--->Search ERP customer I am able to open the correct page.
Could anyone please let me know where I need to make the Change in home page configuration so that it will link to ERP customer screen as per looking the details of the web-dynpro appln.
Technical Details:-
Now, When I am clicking on above search customer screen, below page got open for Business partner instead of Customer.
and this page is having the technical details as:-
How and where can I change the above Appln Config from BS_OVP_CU to BS_OVP_CU_CL so that from landing page instead of BP customer my ERP customer search screen will open.
Any useful help will be appreciated.

Hi Experts,
I am trying for a scenario of creating a customer through MDG using BRF plus workflow and I assigned the workflow template to my CR type and able to create the customer with that scenario till yesterday, But somehow It is not working for me now and throwing me the error as "Process error after activation", after checking in the workflow log, it is assigned again to one of the approver.
The only change which I have done form yesterday is assigned the SLA to my CR.
My scenario is a three step process:-

Note:- I have also configured the change customer scenario with 2 steps and it is working fine.

This document explains to insert a post method(DISTRIBUTE_MATERIAL) in class CL_USMD_DISTRIBUTION_SERVICES. What method we have to enhance because I do not see a method for the vendor to enhance.
Are there any OSS notes to be implemented for the replication of Vendor?

I am doing Cost Element (Secondary) initial load and getting below error at DRF stage.
You have entered "" to classify cost elements. This entry is not recognized by the system. The only valid entries are:

But, No error is coming when we create Cost Element via SAP GUI. Error is coming only through MDG-File Upload.
Did any face this error before? I have done search on this in SDN but couldnt find any related info.

I am completely new in the MDG area.
I found the HowTo "Master Data Governance for Material: BADI USMD_SSW_RULE_CONTEXT_PREPARE to enhance User Determination". There it is described how to enhance the context via Enhancement Spot USMD_SSW_SERVICE_PROCESSOR and example implementation MDG_BS_MAT_BRF_CONTEXT_LABOR.
We have following situation: We need the 'plant' for the decision tables in BRF+. So we assumed that we can use the logic described in the howto (although the field 'labor' is used).
I implemented the BadI and tried it via debugging for the standard functionality (labor). Following problem: In method READ_MATERIAL (no change of standard implementation) in line 59 (lr_model->read_char_value after gc_fieldname_material and usmd0_cs_fld-crequest is set in lt_sel) there are no entries in <lt_data>.
Where could be the problem?
Further question: How is it possible to enhance the code to retrieve the plant values out of the Change request instead of 'labor'?

I have read, that the archiving was on the roadmap for the future. This statement is already one year ago.

Hello guys,
I have some problems, creating a BRF+ Derivation Rule, to derive the Account Group by the Change Request Type.
I have created a new function node DERIVE_BP_CUSGEN and added the data objects:
- BP_CUSGEN
- SAPFMDM_CREQUEST_TYPE
Afterwards I created the derivation rule:

What have I done wrong?
