We have added VEN_BRSCH field under Entity Type BP_VENGEN, and also maintained the SMT mapping for the same.
But the Value associated with the BRSCH is only visible in the stagging area and not able in the Active area ( Please note we have included this field under ERP Vendor and the create Supplier CR is approved and activated.)

Hello experts,
I have a requirement for making a replication of Vendor Hierarchy, how it is on ECC, i need to produce the name results in MDG Supplier/Vendor.
I do know that MDG works on Business Partner functionality, which is different.
My question is, do we design from scratch Vendor Hierarchy or extend it.
Also some inputs from MDG BP perspective, why is it different

In the datasource 0MDG_ANLY_CR_DATASOURCE I find the field CR_PRO_TIME. The field is a decimal number but i am wondering if this is a decimal number showing days? ie. if 36 hours have passed it will show 2,5?
Furthermore is CR_PRO_TIME only updated when a request is approved/rejected etc or is updated at other intervals?

I am getting check table error when i try to model FVIDK(MARC) filed however FVIDK field doesnt have any check table. Can somebody provide inputs ?

There is an attribute with a data element assigned that refers to a check table.
Besides the client, the check table can only have one key field that corresponds to the attribute.
The data model cannot be saved or activated.

During an upgrade project few Vendors are incorrectly mapped to BP. so when the user tries to display/change the Supplier in Supplier Governance application, he/she gets the error Supplier does not exist. this makes sense since the Number/ID it is mapped to is different in the back end.
So we thought one solution to this would be to replace the supplier number with the correct supplier number once the user clicks on Start button(Via a custom mapping table). i tried to find out if a BAdI exists that i can use to achieve this, does anybody know anything about this?

Hi Experts,
We created an Edition that should be released and upon the release the data should be replicated. We then created a change request to create a profit center and it went through all the approvals and has the status Final Check Approved.
The profit center is available in the search and no open change requests exist anymore.
When we want to release the edition to replicate it we got the error - This edition contains no data to be distributed.
Could this be due to a background program that should run or has anyone had this problem before?.

In MDG-S while creating change request in attachment option if I attach any file that is getting deleted on after activation . My requirement is to store that file with vendor.
Please suggest me the way to achieve that.

If an enterprise was using SAP MDM and it has there configurations, workflows, data models,forms, ... etc and it is planning to implement MDG 7.0 soon. How can it benefit from the earlier implementation of MDM ? Technically, what parts,objects can be migrated from MDM to MDG ?

All the documents/blogs only talk about mass change for fields like Search Term/ First Name (Basically fields that are common between Business Partner & Customer/Vendor). Is there a way to do a mass update on Company Code data for a Vendor or Customer, for ex: Sort Key.
Any references or guidelines will be greatly appreciated. Please help.

Please tell what is the difference between SAP_MDG_MENU_03 and SAP_MDGS.
I have created profit centre CR, after approval it is reflecting in ECC, but when I am trying to change values in all created profit centres through mass chabge. It is not getting update in ECC although mass change is reflecting in MDG. after CR approval.

In the MDG-M scenario, after the CR is created and successfully submitted by the Requestor (e.g; Create / Change a Material), when trying to display this CR in the "Display Change Request" menu option, i get the error message - "Change Request was not passed as a Parameter" after i click on the "Workflow Log" push button.
Additionally, the details of this CR are not being displayed in the window "MDG-M UI (Entry Point), when double-clicking the CR number in the "Display Change Requests" window
Any ideas why this is happening and how to resolve this issue ?

When using "Create ERP Customer", i am getting error message "Enter a relevant role for creation of customer master data". What specifically am I missing, I believe I configured the CVI. I am on MDG7.0.

I have few question on MDG Data Import Feature, as below:
1. Is it possible to perform Mass load of Business Partner in MDG, Automatically. If Yes, then How it can be done. Please consider that we have some Custom attributes too in Business partner.
2. During Mass load, Business want MDG System to perform duplication check automatically by comparing records from file with what in MDG. If there are duplicate records then ignore those from import, else import in MDG.
I found some documents on "File upload", and "Import Master Data" for point no 1, but got other questions like:
1. As per my understanding using file upload, only one Entity can be imported at a time. if we want to load multiple entities in one shot, then file upload will not work. Please confirm is this correct.
2. For 'Import Master Data' using Data import framework, is it possible to import business partners with custom attributes. If yes, then how it can be achieved.
3. For 'Import Master Data' using Data import framework, is it possible to load from both IDoc XML format and ESO (standard ES format) or which format is supported.
All help is appreciated for above questions.

Hi All,
I am new to MDG F 7.0. I created new Edition,Cost center,Cost Center Grp, Cost Center hierarchy using single processing using new edition created.
I also created new CR Create Hierarchy change request for cost center group and added the above created CC,CCG, CCH.
When I try to create hierachy and save using Process hierachy for cost center group option, I am getting the following error.
