Getting the error on activation of Material Create CR: Using existing change request for material NEW MATERIAL1; check existing data
Hi Experts,
I am getting the error on activating the Material Create CR as "Using existing change request for material NEW MATERIAL1; check existing data"
and the status of the CR is "Process Errors after activation".
I have gone though the solution provided by the SAP Note provided by SAP

As per the note above, the component USMD_CREQUEST is already available under the structure "MDG_BS_MAT_S_MP_SETTINGS_DATA"
Please help on this issue ASAP as Material Creation workflow is not getting successfully completed.

F4 list of values not enabled in MDG CR for field "Units of Measure Group"
Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to add "Units of Measure" field (MEGRU) to Sales View of the MDG Change Request/UI (ECC6/Ehp5).
When I am adding the attribute ZZMEGRU and providing the data element MEGRU I am getting error "Data Model MM, entity type ZMVKE, attribute ZZMEGRU: Invalid check table"
So I provided the data element with data type CHAR4 it allowed me to create it and i was able to map it. The field is also available in MDG CR but the F4 drop down is not enabled.
Please let me know what I am missing here. I have tried to create a relationship for dependent table TWMEG but still it does not work.

SAP MDG | Replication via ALE (IDOC) to multiple Business Systems
Hi Experts,
I need some help with a replication issue...
scenario:
I have configured a replication model via Idoc to multiple business systems
within a MDG for Customer scenario.
The replication in general is working fine with two available target systems. However since
I have activated the target system flag in the activity: 
I will get the following problem...
issue:
The source system always creates and sends the idocs to all available systems
although i have selected a specific system on the UI-tab "Target Systems" .
Now my question is:
Is this a default behavior? Are there any additional
configuration steps which I have forgotten that only the selected target
system will receive the idocs?
or:
Is this a system error which can be solved with a SAP note?

MDG-F 7.0 screen steps needed to move cost center code across cost center groups in cc hierarchy

I wanted to move cost center code CC1 out of cost center group CCG1 and move into under cost center group CCG2. What steps on MDG-F 7.0 should I go through to complete the change request?

MDG: Create Material
Hi Team.
I'm configuring MDG_M_7 and have these questions.
1. When I click Create Material link, It takes me to a screen where I can provide Material,
Material(Template) etc., Can I bypass this intermediate screen?
2. Sometimes I can see the intermediate screen with only 4 fields, and sometime all the fields
(Plant, Storage Location etc.,) with Organizational Levels and template is seen. How to fix by seeing always the standard fields in the screen?

SAP HANA based search configuration with MDG-M
Hi Experts,
Has anyone implemented the SAP HANA based search and duplicate check with SAP MDG- Material?
Are there any list of Material Objects which supports HANA based search like we have objects for MDG-Financials.
Also, are there any pre-defined search views for MDG-M already defined by SAP like we have for MDG-F, or we need to create new ones
Please guide.

MDG: Validation error
Hi Team,
1. During creation of material, When I click "Check" it gives me lot of validation errors saying those field values are missing. But, the error
remains same as warning after I provide values to those fields. What might be the issue?
2. Is there a standard validations available by default for Material. If so, how to check that?
I'm getting few validation errors for which I haven't configure any. Where should I check such
error messages?
3. In Create Material, the individual expand option is not working for entities. Only Expand all works. Is it a
browser issue or any other issue(I'm using IE8)

MDGF - Cost centre hierarchies not visible with new validity editions
Hello Gurus,
We uploaded Cost Centre hierarchies with an edition, which is out of validity. Now, we are trying to create cost centre with collective processing with new validity edition and surprisingly we are not able see the hierarchy from the selected controlling area.
For every new cost centre, which are being created with new validity from edition, hierarchies should get displayed. but its not. Do i need to do any additional configurations?
Any suggestions?

Help Needed: SAP MDG Duplicate Check while doing Mass Load using SAP HANA database
Hi MDG Experts,
Can anybody help me in providing the inputs for the below SAP MDG requirement:
We are using SAP MDG 7.0 SP02 co-deployed on SAP ECC6.0.
While doing mass upload using .CSV file format or using IDOC-XML format into SAP MDG ,Is there any way for SAP MDG to analyze the records contained in the uploaded file on a field-by-field basis to make sure there are no similar/duplicates records already existing in SAP ECC.
OR Is there any way to conduct a duplicate check for the records present in the file with the records present in active area/ECC and we are using SAP HANA as the primary database?
Can we anyhow integrate the HANA based duplicate check while doing the mass load activity?
Please let me know if anyone has any idea on this or had worked on this type of scenario previously.

Vendor Number Field Enabled For External Number Range
Hi All ,
I see that when i use the External Account Group for Vendors ( Vendor Like UI) the Vendor number field does not get enabled immediately as i select the External Vendor group. I have to perform a check operation and only then the system gives an error saying that the Account group is a External Number range .
is this the standard behavior ??

Parallel request in MDG-S
I've browsed through the forum and found information about parallel changed request in MDG-M - is this also possible in MDG-S or MDG-C?
i.e. if there's request pending related to data on company code or purchase organization data - would it be possible to request a change to general data or other company code data?

Rule based workflow for Supplier
Hi MDG Gurus,
We are implementing MDG-S on MDG 7.0 on SAP ECC 6.0 ehp6 for a client in a co-deployed scenario.
Actually I have a small confusion in designing the workflow for this:
1) Can we only use a rule-based workflow for MDG supplier workflow configuration like we use for MDG-Material ? If yes, then after the activation of BC-set "CA-MDG-APP-SUP_DE_VC_USMD110_C" can we ensure that the BRF+ decision table steps will be imported successfully or do we need to perform some other configuration?
2) But, If we use the conventional method as given in the link Set Up the Workflow - Master Data Governance for Supplier - SAP Library,
then can we achieve success in the successful configuration of the workflow OR do we need to use both the methods as given in the guide.
Please let me know which is the preferred method which we can use for configuration of supplier workflow and please provide some document having screenshots or step by step guide to configure the Supplier workflow using these 2 methods.

I am working in an MDG-F 7.0 worhsop and on the selection screen, there is a function called Create Profit Center Hierarchy. Is this used to create a profit center hierarchy code that is highest in a profit center hierarchy?

MDGM 7.0 - User Interface per change request type UI not showing CR details
Hi Experts,
We are using our own UI's in certain change request steps for creating a material . The UI's were deep copied from the standard UI's . This UI's were assigned to the respective CR steps and link logical actions with UI and Business Activity was performed in the IMG.But after the CR is created and during that specific approval step , the system is loading that specific UI but we are unable to see any Actions and also the CR UIBB does not show the CR#'s and other details .
We want this configuration change to be system wide , so any user who creates that particular steps will go through those steps.
I know I can achieve this using PFCG for specific users , by loading their own configs and in turn load these specific UI steps .But how do we achieve this system wide irrespective of the users.
UI loaded during that step: It has no Approval/Submit actions and no CR details

No application components available in workflow tasks
Hi everyone,
I'm configuring the MDG 7.0 for Material.
When I'm trying to configure the workflow tasks through the following node,
General Settings ->Process Modeling -> Workflow -> Configure Workflow Tasks
Now I can see only one node CA-MDG with no child tasks. I don't see the Application Framework node or its relevant sub objects.
What could be the reason behind this issue?

How to restore Appl.Config. BS_MAT_OVP_03H as original to SAP delivered.
Hello Expert,
My standard SAP UI is not working as expected. I copied BS_MAT_OVP_03H into Deep copy ZBS_MAT_OVP_03H and later deleted deep copied application configuration with some adaptation for plant and Distribution channel by Hide UIBB = Yes.
Please help me to get back this one to sap standard.

Restricting BP Grouping values
We are implementing MDG-Supplier and we are using the Supplier UI.
When a user selects the field BP grouping (in Supplier Details UIBB) there are several values (Std SAP values + the ones created for the project) in the drop down.
Does any one know of a simple way of restricting these values to just the ones created for the project ? (FYI - We don't want to delete the SAP std delivered values as they will show up after an upgrade )
