I have created a rule based workflow for Customer domain. The approver tasks are assigned to positions (S). The business requirement is that requester should not be approver i.e requester shoud not get task even if he/she is member of the position assigned to the task. Bassically we need to exculde the requester from the approver tasks.
In SAP BPM each workflow task has a property called "Exclude Owners" where we give the user Ids for whom the task should not be assigned.
Is there anything similar?

We would like to implement a validation in ERP standard and raise error message in standard function module modification
eg: FM CHECK_BANK_ADDRESS
but the validation is supposed to be executed only for ERP standard and not MDG .
How do we identify if the calling application is MDG to skip this validation .

I am facing the error "You have no Authorization to perform this action", while creating the Supplier as per below process.
SAP MDG for Supplier:Requestor -> Process Supplier -> Click New -> Organization.
I have checked the role "SAP_MDGS_REQ_04" is assigned to me.
Any authorization Object I am missing to check?
Please help..!!

I have an issue with MDG-M. I can see the a previous developer has made customizing in the system, setting some fields editable, some fields as non-editable.
The problem is that I can reach customizing mode on some of the screens (and able to customize the fields), but I cannot reach the customizing mode in case of other screens.
The process is the following:
1. 'screen 1': User fills the change request type and presses the 'continue' button, then the system will lead him to 'screen 2'
2. 'screen 2': User fills in the details of the CR (material type, unit of measure, MRP profile, etc.)
By using sap-config-mode=x, or by starting the application configuration from se80, or from pfcg transaction, I am only allowed to customize 'screen 1' only!!!, I am not able to customize 'screen 2' (the system displays 'screen 2' as well in customizing mode, but only the header bars of the screen are displayed this way, the rest of the screen - where the fields of the CR details supposed to be - is not visible).
'screen 1' and 'screen 2' are
- two different webdynpro applications
- the start components of the pages are the same (with different configuration)
- the part of the screen where the data is stored are UIBB components in both cases.
Does anyone know the answer for this problem?

I am working with MDG-M. I am trying to test/execute an application configuration from se80 transaction in order to change the URL of the page (to add ?sap-config-mode=x), hence reach customizing mode and perform native webdynro configuration.
In order to do this, I select the required webdynpro application and application config in se80 transaction, then select 'webdynpro configuration'-->'test'
-->'execute'.
My problem is, that in this case a non-configured version of a differentwebdynproapplication gets loaded (I can tell it by right click-->context menu-->technical help).
Can anyone help in this matter?

P.S.: the page that supposed to be loaded is a navigation page, and users are directed to this page from an initial page. The application on the second screenshot above is the application of the initial page. It seems that the system couldn't find the configuration of the navigation page, and therefore, some "redirect" method occurs, which leads me to the application of the initial screen (without configuration)

Can you please tell me is there a way to download more then one Entity Type data using File_Download option in MDG? I would like to download Address and Busniess Partner information using File_Download. But it is only allows me to download one Entity type at a time.
Or is there a other way I could extract data out of MDG for more then one Entity Type in a Flat file?

1. 1) I am trying to create out-of-box customer using standard WF - WS54300003.
2. 2) But I saw, once I submit the CR, in the next level I am unable to see an approve button to proceed further.
3. 3) I also found, the created CR is not at all going through the WF - WS54300003.

Hi everyone,
An edition is created with replication timing - on final approval of change request. In this edition, I have a change request to create a new Cost Center (Cost Center CR) and then I have another change request to move this newly created cost center into a different cost center group (cost center hierarchy movement CR). I was expecting to see the desired changes are replicated into ECC right after I apprvoed both change requests. This is what the replication timing choice should do.
What I came to know is that when I approved the Cost Center CR, the new cost center is replicated in ECC right after I approved the change request. So the replication timing choice works as I expected in this instance. However when I approved the cost center hierarchy movement CR, replication of the movement of cost center across two different cost center groups won't happen automatically in ECC even though the replication timing says it should happen on final approval of change request. In that instance, I will need to use "Replication by Objects" in order to see the desired changes are made in ECC.
Can someone confirm this is what it is designed to work this way or am I missing something?

In MDG 7.0 SP02 I getting above error for data replication in co deployment mode. (Replication Model is defined for BO 895 with outbound implementation 1112)
I can find two SAP notes for this
2003904 - Hierarchy Replication get wrong hierarchy name in replication log
1941620 - Hierarchy is not replicated from Edition Distribution
are they really required as I am on SP02 already? Is any customization is missing

I am having one requirement to include the text field containing the activity type description, the standrad table is CSLA which is having the data of text fields but strangely this table is not having any field like such,
I found text fields in separate table named as CSLT.
now, I have created a type-4 entity in my data model for CSLA attributes and its working fine, but not sure how can I incorporate this text field in my entity and how will the system recognize that text is specific to activity types.
Any help will be appreciated.

Since MDG supports multiple Customer/Supplier assignment to one BP, how can i assign different addresses, that i maintain at BP level, to different ERP customers? I see that only the standard address is getting copied to all the ERP Customers that i maintain under one BP. I want to assign different address to my Sold-to Customer and different one to Ship-to customer.

I have come across an issue while trying to create a MDG change request to "Change Material". The material was discontinued by activating the "Discontinued Indicator" and also providing the "Follow Up" material. Now business wants to remove the discontinued indicator and follow up material and make the original material active again. But from MDG I am not able to remove the Discontinued Part from the MDG Change Request. Please see attached screen shots.
We are on ECC6.0 and Ehp 5. I have checked the attributes but could not see any specific settings.
Please advise.
